What is Contact Paper?

Our Contact Paper is a high-quality self-adhesive film that makes it easy to refresh surfaces in your home. It is available with or without lamination and is suitable for walls, furniture, kitchen countertops, household appliances, and more.

What is the difference between laminated and non-laminated Contact Paper?

Without lamination: Suitable for dry surfaces with normal wear, such as walls and decorations.

With lamination: Recommended for surfaces with heavy wear or high humidity. The lamination provides extra protection against scratches, water, and cleaning – perfect for kitchen countertops, sinks, bathtubs/shower areas, and floors.

Can I use Contact Paper in humid environments like bathrooms?

Yes, in these areas we recommend choosing the laminated option. In places where water can accumulate or where humidity is high – such as around sinks or in bathtubs/shower areas – the lamination offers necessary protection.

Can Contact Paper be used on floors?

Laminated Contact Paper is suitable for floors, as it withstands daily wear and makes the surface more resistant to cleaning and pressure.

How do I install Contact Paper?

Clean the surface thoroughly – it should be smooth, dry, and free of grease.

If you haven't ordered a custom-sized product, measure and cut the Contact Paper to your desired size.

Peel off the backing paper gradually and apply using a squeegee.

Avoid air bubbles by working from the center outward.

Note: Have freshly painted walls? Wait at least 3 weeks after painting before applying the Contact Paper to allow the paint to fully cure.

How do I clean the surface?

Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid strong chemicals or abrasive sponges.

Can I get a custom solution?

Yes! We offer custom solutions tailored to your needs. Whether you have your own pattern or want a specific amount, color, or shape – contact us and we’ll help you place a special order that fits your requirements.

How durable is the Contact Paper?

Our Contact Paper is high quality and designed to withstand daily wear. It retains its appearance and functionality over time, making it a durable and long-lasting choice for both furniture and interior design.

Can I remove the Contact Paper without leaving marks?

Yes! Start by gently lifting a corner and slowly peeling the paper off. If you encounter resistance, use a hair dryer to warm the area – the heat softens the adhesive and makes it easier to remove without damaging the surface.

Which surfaces are best for Contact Paper?

Contact Paper adheres well to painted walls, smooth surfaces, laminate, glass, and metal. It also works well on lightly textured surfaces, making it a popular choice for both walls and furniture. Avoid porous, heavily uneven, or freshly painted surfaces. Want to be completely sure before you order? Feel free to request a sample and test it – it's an easy way to see how it works in your home!
